Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Shrimp

Rinse the jumbo shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. If not already done, peel and devein the shrimp, leaving the tails on for presentation.

  2. 2

    Mince the Garlic

Peel and finely mince the garlic cloves to release their flavor.

  3. 3

    Chop the Parsley

Wash and chop the fresh parsley into small pieces for garnish.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Lemon

Cut the lemon in half and set aside for juicing later.

Cooking

  1. 5

    Sauté the Garlic

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant but not browned.

  2. 6

    Cook the Shrimp

Add the jumbo shrimp to the skillet and season with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.

  3. 7

    Add Lemon Juice

Squeeze the juice of the halved lemon over the shrimp while cooking, allowing the citrus flavor to infuse.

  4. 8

    Serve

Once the shrimp are cooked, remove them from the heat. Transfer to a serving platter and sprinkle with chopped parsley for garnish.
