Preparing the Crab

Boil Water
In a large pot, fill with water and add 1 tablespoon of salt. Bring the water to a rolling boil.

Cook the Crab
Carefully add the fresh crab to the boiling water. Cover the pot and let it boil for about 10-15 minutes, depending on the size of the crab. The crab is done when it turns a bright orange color.

Drain and Cool
Once cooked, carefully remove the crab from the pot and place it in a colander to drain. Allow it to cool for a few minutes before cracking.

Serve
Serve the crab hot with lemon wedges on the side.
Preparing the Sides

Prepare Corn on the Cob
Bring a separate pot of water to a boil. Add the corn on the cob and boil for about 5-7 minutes until tender. Remove and drain.

Make Coleslaw
In a large bowl, combine prepared coleslaw mix with dressing of your choice. Toss well to combine and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Prepare Garlic Bread
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the loaf of garlic bread in half, spread with butter and garlic, and bake for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
