Method

Brownie Directions

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.

  2. 2

    Melt Butter and Mix Sugars

In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in granulated sugar and brown sugar until well combined.

  3. 3

    Add Eggs and Vanilla

Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

  4. 4

    Combine Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt.

  5. 5

    Mix Wet and Dry Ingredients

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

  6. 6

    Fold in Chocolate Chips

Gently fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the batter.

  7. 7

    Bake the Brownies

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

  8. 8

    Cool and Cut

Remove the brownies from the oven and let them cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Once cooled, transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before cutting into squares.

Serving Directions

  1. 9

    Serve with Ice Cream

Serve the warm brownies with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top or on the side for a delightful dessert.
