Base Ingredients

Homemade Seasonings

Method

Cooking the Fries

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fries

Heat the cooking oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 180°C (350°F). Add the frozen French fries in batches and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 4-6 minutes.

  2. 2

    Drain Excess Oil

Remove the fries from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.

Creating Seasoning Blends

  1. 3

    Mix Seasonings

In a small bowl, combine any combination of the homemade seasonings according to your taste preferences. Start with a base of salt and add other seasonings to create your desired flavor.

  2. 4

    Taste and Adjust

Taste the seasoning blend and adjust the quantities as necessary to achieve your preferred flavor balance.

Serving

  1. 5

    Season the Fries

While the fries are still hot, sprinkle your seasoning blend evenly over them. Toss gently to ensure even coating.

  2. 6

    Serve

Serve the seasoned fries immediately while hot, with dipping sauces if desired.
