Method

Beef Carpaccio Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef

Wrap the beef tenderloin tightly in plastic wrap and freeze for about 1 hour to make it easier to slice. Once firm, slice the beef as thinly as possible using a sharp knife.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Carpaccio

Place the beef slices on a large plate and drizzle with truffle oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Let it marinate while you prepare the other components.

Crispy Capers Preparation

  1. 3

    Fry the Capers

In a small skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add capers and fry until they become crispy, about 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat and drain on paper towels.

Crostini Preparation

  1. 4

    Make the Crostini

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette into thin slices and place on a baking sheet. Brush both sides with olive oil and bake for about 10 minutes or until golden and crispy.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Plate the Dish

Arrange the marinated beef carpaccio on a serving platter. Top with crispy capers, shaved Parmigiano-Reggiano, and serve with crostini and pickles on the side.
