Prepare the rapini

Wash the chilli rapini thoroughly under cold water, and trim any tough stems. Cut the rapini into 2-inch pieces.

Sauté garlic

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic cloves and sauté until fragrant and golden, about 1-2 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.

Add rapini

Add the chopped chilli rapini to the skillet, stirring well to coat in the oil and garlic. Cook for about 4-5 minutes, until the rapini is bright green and tender.

Season

Sprinkle the red chili flakes, salt, and black pepper over the rapini. Continue to cook, stirring occasionally, for another 2-3 minutes until well combined and the rapini is cooked to your liking.

Serve

Remove from heat and transfer to a serving dish. Serve hot as a side dish or over cooked grains.
