Preparation and Assembly

1

Make the Dough

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add water and olive oil, mixing until a dough forms. Knead on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.

2

Roll and Cut

Divide the dough into smaller pieces. Roll each piece out to about 1/8 inch thickness. Cut into rectangles or squares.

3

Fry the Dough

Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Fry the dough pieces in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

4

Prepare Whipped Truffle Burrata

In a small bowl, whip the burrata cheese with a fork until creamy. Add a few drops of truffle oil and mix to combine, adjusting to taste.

5

Prepare Lemon Dressing

In a separate bowl, whisk together lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper to taste.

6

Assemble the Dish

Serve the crispy gnocco fritto with slices of soppressata and dollops of whipped truffle burrata. Drizzle with lemon dressing before serving.
