Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fruits

Wash the blood oranges and cranberries thoroughly. Slice the blood oranges into thin rounds, removing any seeds. Set aside. Rinse the raspberries and set aside.

  2. 2

    Mix the Base

In a large pitcher, combine the red wine, cranberry juice, and orange liqueur. Stir well to mix all the liquids evenly.

Assembly

  1. 3

    Add the Fruits

Add the sliced blood oranges, fresh cranberries, and raspberries to the pitcher with the liquid mixture. Stir gently to combine.

  2. 4

    Sweeten the Sangria

Add the granulated sugar to the pitcher. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved in the mixture.

Chilling and Serving

  1. 5

    Chill the Sangria

Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight if possible, to allow the flavors to meld.

  2. 6

    Serve

Before serving, add the sparkling water to the pitcher and stir gently. To serve, pour the sangria into glasses filled with ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
