Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Wash and slice the tomato and onion. Set aside the lettuce leaves.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Divide the beef into two equal portions and shape each into a patty.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Add Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover the skillet to melt the cheese.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burger

Toast the burger buns if desired. Place the cooked patty with melted cheese on the bottom half of the bun. Top with lettuce, tomato slices, and onion. Cover with the top half of the bun.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the cheeseburger hot with your favorite condiments on the side.
