Mushrooms

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it's hot enough for baking the stuffed mushrooms.

  2. 2

    Clean the Mushrooms

Gently wipe the mushrooms with a damp cloth to remove any dirt. Remove the stems from the mushrooms and set them aside.

Filling the Mushrooms

  1. 3

    Prepare the Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped thyme, salt, black pepper, and grated Parmesan cheese. Mix well until all ingredients are fully combined.

  2. 4

    Stuff the Mushrooms

Using a small spoon, carefully fill each mushroom cap with the cream cheese filling, packing it slightly to ensure it holds together.

Baking

  1. 5

    Arrange and Drizzle

Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil to enhance flavor and promote browning.

  2. 6

    Bake

Bake the stuffed mushrooms in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the filling is golden brown.

Serving

  1. 7

    Serve Warm

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve the stuffed mushrooms warm as an appetizer or side dish.
