Patties

Prepare the Patties
In a bowl, combine ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and divide into 4 equal portions, shaping each into a 4oz patty.

Cook the Patties
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness. Set aside.

Make the Cheese Spread
In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, garlic powder, dried chives, dried parsley, and lemon juice. Mix until smooth and creamy.

Prepare the Candied Bacon
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lay bacon strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle brown sugar over the bacon. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until crispy. Remove and let cool.
Truffle Mayo

Prepare the Truffle Mayo
In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise and truffle oil. Mix well and set aside.

Assemble the Burger
On the bottom half of each bun, spread a generous amount of truffle mayo. Place two patties on each bun, followed by a layer of caramelized onions, candied bacon, and grilled jalapenos if using. Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
