Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Cauliflower

Remove the leaves and stem from the cauliflower head, then cut it into thick slices or 'chops'. Aim for about 1-inch thick slices.

  2. 2

    Make the Marinade

In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice until well combined.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Marinate the Cauliflower

Place the cauliflower chops in a large bowl or a zip-top bag. Pour the marinade over the cauliflower and ensure each chop is well coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.

  2. 4

    Preheat the Grill

While the cauliflower is marinating, preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

  3. 5

    Grill the Cauliflower

Once the grill is hot, place the marinated cauliflower chops directly on the grill grates. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are tender and have nice grill marks. You may need to adjust the cooking time based on your grill.

Serving

  1. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Remove the grilled cauliflower chops from the grill and transfer them to a serving platter. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
