Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Clean the wild mushrooms with a damp cloth and slice them if they are large. Finely chop the shallots and garlic. Chop the fresh tarragon leaves.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Shallots and Garlic

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped shallots and sauté for about 2 minutes until they become translucent. Add the minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute.

  3. 3

    Cook the Mushrooms

Add the wild mushrooms to the skillet. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mushrooms are tender and browned.

  4. 4

    Finish with Tarragon

Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the chopped tarragon. Adjust seasoning if necessary.

  5. 5

    Serve

Transfer the sautéed mushrooms to a serving dish and serve warm as a side dish or a topping for steaks, pasta, or toast.
