1. Prepare the Ham
Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern, about 1/4 inch deep. This allows the glaze to penetrate better.
2. Make the Glaze
In a saucepan, combine the cola, pineapple juice, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and ground cloves. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Reduce heat and let simmer for about 10 minutes.
3. Bake the Ham
Place the ham in a roasting pan and brush it generously with the cola glaze. Cover with foil and bake for 1.5 hours.
4. Add Pineapple and Cherries
Remove the ham from the oven, take off the foil, and arrange pineapple slices on top of the ham. Secure with toothpicks and place a cherry in the center of each pineapple slice. Brush with additional glaze.
5. Final Bake
Return the ham to the oven and bake uncovered for another 30 minutes, basting every 10 minutes with the glaze until the ham is caramelized and heated through.
6. Serve
Remove the ham from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes before carving. Serve with the remaining glaze on the side.
