Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Rinse the ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor absorption.

  2. 2

    Make the Dry Rub

In a small bowl, combine salt, black pepper, paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Mix well to form the dry rub.

  3. 3

    Season the Ribs

Rub the dry mixture generously over both sides of the ribs, ensuring they are well coated.

  4. 4

    Bake the Ribs

Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover the ribs with another piece of foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until tender.

  5. 5

    Glaze with Sauce

Remove the ribs from the oven and discard the top layer of foil. Brush the ribs with barbecue sauce and return to the oven, uncovered, for an additional 30 minutes to caramelize the sauce.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove the ribs from the oven, let them rest for a few minutes, then cut into portions and serve with extra barbecue sauce on the side.
