Prepare the Batter
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt until well combined.

Mix Wet and Dry Ingredients
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix; some lumps are okay.

Preheat the Pan
Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease with additional butter if needed.

Cook the Pancakes
Pour small amounts of batter (about 1/4 cup) onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
