Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Batter

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.

  2. 2

    Combine Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, beat the eggs and then mix in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.

  3. 3

    Mix Wet and Dry Ingredients

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are okay.

  4. 4

    Preheat the Griddle

Heat a griddle or non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter or cooking spray.

  5. 5

    Cook the Pancakes

Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the hot griddle for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

  6. 6

    Serve

Stack the pancakes on a plate and serve warm with your favorite toppings such as syrup, fruit, or whipped cream.
