Biscuit Bread Pudding

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Biscuit Mixture

In a large bowl, break the day-old biscuits into bite-sized pieces. Add the cherries and chopped pistachios, and mix gently.

  3. 3

    Make the Custard

In another bowl, whisk together the milk, heavy cream, eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.

  4. 4

    Combine Mixtures

Pour the custard mixture over the biscuit mixture. Gently fold to combine, making sure the biscuits soak up the custard.

  5. 5

    Add Nutella

Spoon dollops of Nutella over the top of the mixture. Use a knife or skewer to swirl it into the pudding gently.

  6. 6

    Bake

Pour the entire mixture into the prepared baking dish, and drizzle the melted butter on top. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden and the custard is set.

  7. 7

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
