Lemonade Directions

  1. 1

    Juicing the Lemons

Cut the fresh lemons in half and use a citrus juicer to extract the juice into a measuring cup. You should have about 1 cup of lemon juice.

  2. 2

    Making the Lemonade Base

In a pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice with 1 cup of granulated sugar. Stir the mixture until the sugar is completely dissolved.

  3. 3

    Adding Water

Add 4 cups of cold water to the pitcher and stir well. Taste the lemonade and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar if desired.

  4. 4

    Chilling

Refrigerate the lemonade for at least 30 minutes to chill before serving.

  5. 5

    Serving

Serve the lemonade over ice cubes in glasses and garnish with lemon slices if desired.

Iced Tea Directions

    Brewing the Tea

In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the 4 black tea bags. Let steep for 5-7 minutes.

  2. 7

    Sweetening the Tea

After steeping, remove the tea bags and stir in 1 cup of granulated sugar while the tea is still warm. Mix until the sugar is dissolved.

  3. 8

    Cooling the Tea

Add 4 cups of cold water to the brewed tea and stir well. Let it cool to room temperature.

  4. 9

    Adding Lemon and Mint

Once the tea is cool, you can add the lemon slices and fresh mint leaves for extra flavor.

  5. 10

    Serving

Serve the iced tea over ice cubes in glasses. Garnish with additional lemon slices and mint leaves if desired.
