Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F). Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.

  2. 2

    Slow Cook the Ribs

Wrap the seasoned ribs in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet. Slow cook in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.

  3. 3

Make the Honey Whiskey BBQ Sauce

In a saucepan, combine honey, whiskey, BBQ sauce, and brown sugar. Heat over medium heat until the mixture comes to a simmer, stirring occasionally to combine. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes.

  4. 4

    Grill the Ribs

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove the ribs from the oven and discard the foil. Place the ribs on the grill and baste with the honey whiskey BBQ sauce. Grill for about 5-10 minutes on each side, basting occasionally until caramelized.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes. Cut into portions and serve with your choice of two sides.
