Method

Ribs Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs if it's still attached. In a bowl, mix together smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture all over the ribs.

  2. 2

    Bake the Ribs

Wrap the seasoned ribs in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours until they are tender.

  3. 3

    Glaze with BBQ Sauce

Remove the ribs from the oven, discard the foil, and brush the BBQ sauce generously over the ribs. Return them to the oven uncovered for an additional 30 minutes.

Cornbread Muffins Preparation

  1. 4

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a muffin tin.

  2. 5

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  3. 6

    Mix Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and melted butter.

  4. 7

    Combine Mixtures

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

  5. 8

    Bake Muffins

Spoon the batter into the muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool slightly.

Serving

  1. 9

    Serve

Serve the ribs with coleslaw and baked beans on the side. Enjoy the cornbread muffins with honey butter spread on top.
