Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chicken Wings
Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C). Season the chicken wings generously with smoky seasoning, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- 2
Smoke the Wings
Place the seasoned wings in the smoker and smoke for about 1 hour or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- 3
Flash Fry the Wings
Heat vegetable oil in a large pot or deep fryer to 350°F (175°C). Once the oil is hot, carefully add the smoked wings and fry for about 5-7 minutes until they are crispy and golden brown.
- 4
Toss in Sauce
Remove the wings from the oil and drain on paper towels. In a large bowl, toss the wings in your favorite sauce until they are fully coated.
- 5
Serve
Serve the wings hot with optional sides like celery sticks and blue cheese dressing.
