Method
Pasta Preparation
- 1
Cook the Tagliatelle
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the parsley tagliatelle and cook according to package instructions until al dente, typically around 3-4 minutes. Drain and set aside, reserving some pasta water.
Sauce Preparation
- 2
Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- 3
Add Tomatoes and Capers
Stir in the diced tomatoes and capers, cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes until the tomatoes soften.
- 4
Season the Sauce
Add lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine and let simmer for another 2 minutes.
Combine and Serve
- 5
Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the cooked parsley tagliatelle to the skillet with the garlic butter sauce, tossing to ensure the pasta is well coated. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.
- 6
Fold in Crab Meat
Gently fold in the cooked stone crab meat, allowing it to warm through for about 1-2 minutes.
- 7
Serve
Serve immediately, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
