Method
Cheese Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Brie
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the Brie cheese wheel on a parchment-lined baking sheet. You can score the top of the Brie with a knife to help it melt evenly.
- 2
Bake the Brie
Bake the Brie in the oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until it is soft and gooey in the center. Keep an eye on it to prevent burning.
Cranberry Chutney Preparation
- 3
Cook the Cranberries
In a medium saucepan, combine the fresh cranberries, granulated sugar, orange juice, cinnamon stick, orange zest, and a pinch of salt. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
- 4
Simmer the Chutney
Reduce the heat and let the chutney simmer for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. The cranberries will burst and the mixture will thicken. Remove from heat and discard the cinnamon stick.
Toasted Baguette Preparation
- 5
- 6
Toast the Baguette
Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until they are golden and crispy. Keep an eye on them to ensure they don’t burn.
