Method

Burger Preparation

1

Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and let drain on paper towels.

2

Form and Cook the Patty

Form the ground chuck into two equal patties. Season with salt and pepper. Cook on a grill or skillet over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

3

Add Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of aged cheddar cheese on each patty and cover to melt.

4

Assemble the Burger

Spread dill pickle mayo on the bottom half of the potato bun. Add the lettuce, cooked patty with melted cheese, bacon, sweet onion jam, and a slice of tomato. Top with the other half of the bun.

French Fries Preparation

5

Cook the Fries

Prepare the frozen French fries according to package instructions. Fry or bake until golden brown and crispy.

Date Ketchup Preparation

6

Make the Date Ketchup

Combine dates and water in a saucepan. Simmer until the dates are soft, about 10 minutes. Blend until smooth, then stir in apple cider vinegar and salt to taste.
