Once thickened, remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the butter until melted and smooth.
4. Transfer to Baking Dish
Pour the pudding mixture into a greased baking dish and spread it evenly.
5. Chill Pudding
Let the pudding cool to room temperature, then refrigerate it for at least 2 hours or until set.

Once the caramel is ready, immediately pour it over the chilled pudding, tilting the dish to spread it evenly.
