Kebab Preparation

Prepare the Kebab Mixture
In a large bowl, combine ground lamb, ground beef, grated onion, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, cumin, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix thoroughly using your hands until well combined.
- 2
Shape the Kebabs
Divide the mixture into equal portions and mold each portion around a skewer, shaping it into a long, flat kebab.

Make the Dough
In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 10 minutes until frothy. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil. Knead until smooth.

Let the Dough Rise
Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- 6
Shape and Bake the Bread
Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F). Punch down the risen dough and shape it into a round or oval flatbread. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
