Preparing the Latte

1. Brew the Espresso

Start by brewing 2 shots of espresso using your espresso machine or stovetop Moka pot. Once brewed, let it sit while you prepare the milk.

2. Steam the Milk

In a separate container, steam 1 cup of milk until it reaches a creamy texture and is heated to about 150°F (65°C). If you don’t have a steamer, you can heat the milk in a saucepan and whisk it vigorously to create froth.

3. Combine Ingredients

In a large mug, pour the brewed espresso followed by 2 tablespoons of butterscotch syrup. Stir the mixture to combine until the syrup is fully dissolved.

4. Add Steamed Milk

Slowly pour the steamed milk into the mug over the espresso and butterscotch mixture, allowing the foam to rise to the top.
