1. Prepare the Meat

In a bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Add the meat and marinate for at least 1 hour or overnight in the refrigerator.

2. Cook the Meat

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated meat for about 8-10 minutes per side or until fully cooked. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing thinly.

3. Make the Tzatziki Sauce

In a bowl, mix the Greek yogurt with diced cucumber, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt. Adjust seasoning to taste.

4. Warm the Pita

Warm the pita bread on the grill or in a skillet until slightly toasted.

5. Assemble the Gyro

On each pita, layer sliced meat, red onions, diced tomatoes, and tzatziki sauce. Serve immediately.
