For the Coffee Mixture

Method

Preparing the Coffee Mixture

1

Brew the Coffee

Brew 1 cup of strong coffee and allow it to cool slightly.

2

Combine Ingredients

In a shallow dish, mix the brewed coffee, coffee liqueur, and granulated sugar until the sugar is dissolved.

Preparing the Cream Mixture

3

Whip the Cream

In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar until soft peaks form.

4

Mix Egg Yolks and Mascarpone

In another bowl, whisk the egg yolks and mascarpone cheese until smooth and creamy.

5

Combine Mixtures

Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined. Add vanilla extract and mix gently.

Assembling the Tiramisu

6

Dip Ladyfingers

Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, making sure they soak without becoming too soggy.

7

Layer the Ingredients

In a rectangular dish, layer half of the dipped ladyfingers at the bottom.

8

Add Cream Layer

Spread half of the cream mixture over the ladyfingers.

9

Repeat Layers

Repeat the process with the remaining ladyfingers and cream mixture.

10

Chill

Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

11

Serve and Garnish

Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder using a fine sieve.
