Preparation of Topping

Chop Tomatoes
Dice the fresh tomatoes into small pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.

Add Basil and Seasoning
Chop the fresh basil leaves and add them to the tomatoes. Season with salt, black pepper, and balsamic vinegar. Mix well and set aside to let the flavors combine.

Prepare Mozzarella
Cut the mozzarella cheese into small cubes and add them to the tomato and basil mixture. Gently stir to combine.
Preparation of Bread

Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Slice Bread
Cut the baguette or ciabatta loaf into 1/2 inch thick slices.

Brush with Olive Oil
Place the bread slices on a baking sheet and brush the tops with olive oil.

Toast Bread
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and toast the bread for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown.

Top the Toasted Bread
Once the bread is toasted, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly. Spoon the tomato, basil, and mozzarella mixture generously over each slice.

Arrange the bruschetta on a serving platter and serve immediately while the bread is still warm.
