Margarita Preparation

Prepare the Glass
Take a lime wedge and run it around the rim of a chilled rocks glass to moisten it. Dip the rim of the glass into salt to coat the edge evenly. Set the glass aside.

Mix the Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of tequila, 1 oz of fresh lime juice, and 1 oz of triple sec. Fill the shaker with ice cubes.

Shake Well
Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until the mixture is well chilled.

Serve the Margarita
Fill the prepared rocks glass with fresh ice cubes and strain the margarita mixture from the shaker into the glass.

Garnish
Garnish the drink with a lime wedge on the rim of the glass for an added touch of flavor and presentation.
