Method
Sandwich Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Sandwich
Spread 1 tablespoon of Thousand Island dressing on one side of each slice of marbled bread.
- 2
Layer the pastrami evenly on top of the dressing on two slices of bread.
- 3
Add the sauerkraut on top of the pastrami, followed by a slice of Swiss cheese.
- 4
Top with the other two slices of bread, dressing side down.
- 5
- 6
Grill the sandwich for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Fries Preparation
- 7
Prepare the Fries
Wash and peel the russet potatoes, then slice them into thin strips to make fries.
- 8
Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a large pot over medium-high heat.
- 9
Once the oil is hot, carefully add the potato strips in batches to avoid overcrowding.
- 10
Fry the potatoes for about 5-7 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.
- 11
Remove the fries from the oil, draining them on paper towels.
- 12
Sprinkle with salt to taste while they are still hot.
