Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare Muffin Tin

Line a muffin tin with paper liners or spray with non-stick cooking spray.

Mixing Ingredients

  1. 3

    Combine Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

  2. 4

    Combine Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, mix together the milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.

  3. 5

    Mix Wet and Dry Ingredients

Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix; some lumps are okay.

  4. 6

    Fold in Blueberries

Gently fold in the fresh blueberries into the batter, taking care not to crush them.

Baking

  1. 7

    Fill Muffin Tin

Spoon the muffin batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.

  2. 8

    Bake the Muffins

Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  3. 9

    Cool

Remove the muffins from the oven and let them cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
