Bison Burger
French Fries
Method
Bison Burger Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Bison Patties
In a large bowl, combine the bison ground meat, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until combined, being careful not to overwork the meat. Divide the mixture into three equal portions and shape each portion into a patty approximately 6 oz in weight.

- 3
Assemble the Burger
Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster. Spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun. Add a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked bison patty with melted cheese. Top with tomato slices and finish with the top half of the bun.
French Fries Preparation
- 4
Prepare the Potatoes
Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips to make fries. Rinse the fries under cold water to remove excess starch, then pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
- 5
Fry the Potatoes
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Carefully add the potato strips in batches and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the fries with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- 6
Season the Fries
While the fries are still hot, sprinkle with salt to taste. Toss to coat evenly.
