Protein Preparation

Cook the Protein
In a skillet over medium heat, cook your choice of ham, bacon, or sausage until fully cooked and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Omelet Preparation

Prepare the Omelet
In a bowl, beat the eggs and season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and pour in the beaten eggs. Allow to cook for about 2 minutes until the edges begin to set.

Add the Cheese
Sprinkle the American cheese evenly over one half of the omelet. Fold the other half over the cheese and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the cheese has melted.
