Method

Protein Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Protein

In a skillet over medium heat, cook your choice of ham, bacon, or sausage until fully cooked and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Omelet Preparation

  1. 2

    Prepare the Omelet

In a bowl, beat the eggs and season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and pour in the beaten eggs. Allow to cook for about 2 minutes until the edges begin to set.

  2. 3

    Add the Cheese

Sprinkle the American cheese evenly over one half of the omelet. Fold the other half over the cheese and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the cheese has melted.

Homefries Preparation

  1. 4

    Prepare the Homefries

Dice the potatoes and onion into small cubes. Heat olive oil in a separate skillet over medium heat. Add the diced potatoes and onion, season with salt and pepper, and sauté for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy, stirring occasionally.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Serve the Dish

On a plate, serve the cooked protein alongside the omelet and a generous portion of homefries. Enjoy your Beefside Longhorn!
