Brisket Bomb Filling

Beer Battered Fries

Method

Brisket Bomb Filling

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Brisket

Season the beef brisket with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Brisket

In a smoker or on a grill, cook the brisket at 225°F (107°C) for about 8-10 hours until tender, ensuring to keep it moist.

  3. 3

    Sauté Vegetables

Slice the onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced vegetables and sauté until soft, about 5-7 minutes.

  4. 4

    Slice the Brisket

Once cooked, let the brisket rest for 30 minutes. Slice the brisket thinly against the grain.

  5. 5

    Combine Filling

In a large bowl, mix the sliced brisket with sautéed vegetables and cheddar cheese.

Beer Battered Fries

  1. 6

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel and cut the potatoes into fries. Soak them in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  2. 7

    Make the Batter

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, beer, baking powder, and salt until smooth.

  3. 8

    Heat the Oil

In a deep fryer or large pot, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

  4. 9

    Fry the Potatoes

Drain the fries and pat them dry. Dip the fries into the batter and carefully place them into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Homemade Bubba BBQ Sauce

  1. 10

    Combine Ingredients

In a saucepan, combine ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 11

    Simmer Sauce

Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Let it cook for about 15 minutes until thickened.

  3. 12

    Cool and Store

Remove from heat and let cool. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to use.
