Method

Preparing the Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Season the Beef

In a bowl, combine the Angus beef with salt and black pepper. Mix gently to incorporate the seasonings.

  2. 2

    Form the Patty

Shape the seasoned beef into a large patty, approximately 12 oz in weight, ensuring it is slightly larger than the bun to account for shrinkage during cooking.

Cooking the Burger

  1. 3

    Heat the Grill or Pan

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat for approximately 5 minutes.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patty

Place the beef patty on the hot grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip.

  3. 5

    Add Cheese

After flipping, place the two slices of American cheese on top of the patty. Continue cooking for another 4-5 minutes for medium doneness.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 6

    Prepare the Bun

While the burger is cooking, slice the bulky bun in half and toast it lightly on the grill or in a toaster.

  2. 7

    Add Condiments and Vegetables

Spread mayonnaise on both halves of the toasted bun. Layer lettuce leaves on the bottom half, followed by slices of tomato.

  3. 8

    Assemble the Burger

Once the patty is cooked and cheese is melted, place it on top of the tomato. Top it with the other half of the bun.

Cooking French Fries

  1. 9

    Prepare the Fries

Cook the frozen French fries according to package instructions, typically in an oven or fryer until golden brown.

  2. 10

    Season the Fries

Once cooked, remove the fries from the oven or fryer and sprinkle with salt to taste.
