Method

Pork Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Pork

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and honey. Mix well and add the pork tenderloin, ensuring it is fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Pork

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the pork from the marinade and sear on all sides for about 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Reduce heat to medium, cover, and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Rice Preparation

  1. 3

    Cook the Jasmine Rice

In a saucepan, bring water and salt to a boil. Add jasmine rice, stir once, then cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 15 minutes or until rice is tender and water is absorbed. Remove from heat and let sit, covered, for 5 minutes before fluffing with a fork.
