Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Oranges

Begin by washing the Cara Cara oranges thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt or pesticides.

  2. 2

    Segment the Oranges

Using a sharp knife, cut the top and bottom off each orange. Then, carefully slice the skin off the sides, removing the white pith. Segment the oranges by cutting between the membranes to release the juicy segments into a bowl. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Infuse the Goat Milk

In a small saucepan, heat the goat milk over low heat. Add the lime leaves and simmer gently for about 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to infuse. Do not let it boil. Remove from heat and strain the milk to discard the lime leaves.

  4. 4

    Combine Ingredients

In a blender, combine the infused goat milk, honey, vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt. Blend on medium speed until smooth and well combined.

  5. 5

    Serve the Dish

In serving glasses, place a few ice cubes at the bottom. Add the orange segments on top, then pour the infused goat milk mixture over the oranges. Serve immediately for a refreshing treat.
