Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Tofu
Drain the tofu and press it to remove excess moisture. Cut into cubes or triangles.
- 2
Coat the Tofu
In a bowl, toss the tofu pieces in cornstarch until evenly coated.
- 3
Fry the Tofu
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the coated tofu and fry until golden brown and crispy on all sides, about 10-15 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 4
Make the Sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, citrus juice, minced garlic, gochujang, and sugar until well combined.
- 5
Glaze the Tofu
Once the tofu is crispy, reduce the heat to low and pour the sauce over the tofu. Gently toss to coat the tofu evenly with the glaze.
- 6
Serve
Serve the Korean fried tofu hot, garnished with pickled radish on the side.
