Preparation Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Filling
In a large bowl, combine ground pork, chopped green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- 2
Fill the Wontons
Take a wonton wrapper and place about 1 tablespoon of the pork filling in the center. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold it in half to form a triangle, and press to seal. Make sure there are no air pockets.
- 3
Heat the Pan
In a large skillet, heat a little oil over medium heat. Arrange the filled mandu in the pan, making sure they do not touch.
- 4
Cook the Mandu
Add about 1/4 cup of water to the pan and cover immediately to steam the mandu. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the water has evaporated and the mandu are golden brown on the bottom.
- 5
Serve
Remove the mandu from the pan and serve hot with dipping sauce of your choice.
