Preparation Steps
- 1
Prepare Kimchi-Cured Bacon
In a bowl, mix the thick-cut bacon with 1/2 cup of kimchi and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- 2
Cook the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the marinated bacon until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- 3
Cook the Spam
Slice the spam into thick pieces and add it to the skillet. Fry until crispy and golden brown on both sides, about 5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- 4
Sauté Kimchi
In the same skillet, add the remaining kimchi and sauté for 2-3 minutes until heated through. Set aside.
- 5
Prepare Rice
In a bowl, combine the cooked rice with soy sauce, sesame oil, and green onions. Mix well.
- 6
Cook the Eggs
In a separate non-stick skillet, fry the eggs sunny-side up until the whites are set but the yolks are still runny.
- 7
Plate the Dish
On a large plate, place a serving of the seasoned rice, top with sautéed kimchi, crispy bacon, and spam. Finally, place the sunny-side up eggs on top and season with pepper to taste.
