Whitefish Sandwich Ingredients

Method

Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Breading

In three separate bowls, place the flour, beaten eggs, and cornmeal mixed with salt and pepper.

  2. 2

    Bread the Fish

Dip each whitefish fillet first into the flour, then into the eggs, and finally coat with the cornmeal mixture.

  3. 3

    Fry the Fish

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the breaded fish fillets for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Sandwich

Slice the brioche rolls in half. On the bottom half, place a lettuce leaf, followed by a slice of tomato. Add the fried whitefish on top and drizzle with tartar sauce. Top with the other half of the roll.

  5. 5

    Cook the Fries

Prepare the frozen fries according to package instructions.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the whitefish sandwiches hot with a side of fries.
