Prepare the Glass
Chill an Old Fashioned glass by filling it with ice water while you prepare the cocktail.

Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing glass, combine the lamb fat bourbon, rye whiskey, chopped dates, Kashmiri chili powder, and bitters. Fill the mixing glass with ice.

Stir the Cocktail
Stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled.

Strain into Glass
Empty the ice water from the chilled Old Fashioned glass and strain the cocktail into the glass over a large ice cube.
