Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Sirloin

Take the prime sirloin out of the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking. This helps in even cooking.

  2. 2

    Season the Steak

Rub the sirloin with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and fresh rosemary evenly on both sides.

  3. 3

    Cook the Steak

Preheat a cast-iron skillet or grill over high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned sirloin to the pan and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting the time for your preferred doneness.

  4. 4

    Make the Seasoned Butter

In a small bowl, mix the softened unsalted butter with additional garlic powder and chopped fresh rosemary. Set aside.

  5. 5

    Rest the Steak

Remove the sirloin from the heat and let it rest for about 10 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute within the meat.

  6. 6

    Serve

Slice the sirloin into thick pieces and serve on a sizzling hot platter. Top with the seasoned butter and let it melt over the steak before serving.
