Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Filling

In a large bowl, combine ground pork, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, pepper, cabbage, and carrot. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

  2. 2

    Assemble the Pot Stickers

Take a dumpling wrapper and place about 1 tablespoon of the filling in the center. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, then fold it in half to form a half-moon shape. Pinch the edges to seal. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.

  3. 3

    Cook the Pot Stickers

In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat. Add pot stickers in a single layer and cook until the bottoms are golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Carefully add 1/4 cup of water to the pan and cover immediately. Steam for about 5-7 minutes or until the water has evaporated and the pot stickers are cooked through.

  4. 4

    Serve

Remove pot stickers from the skillet and serve hot with soy sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
