Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the Garlic Herb Butter

In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped thyme, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined, then set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Sirloin

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Season the prime top sirloin with salt and black pepper on both sides. Grill or sear the sirloin for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is achieved.

  3. 3

    Rest and Slice the Sirloin

Remove the cooked sirloin from the heat and let it rest for 5 minutes. After resting, slice the sirloin thinly against the grain.

  4. 4

    Toast the Bread

While the sirloin is resting, toast the bread slices until golden brown. Cut each slice into quarters to create toast points.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Dish

On each toast point, place a slice of the cooked sirloin and top with a dollop of garlic herb butter. Serve immediately.
