Method

Prepare the Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Season the Beef

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until the seasoning is evenly distributed.

  2. 2

    Form the Patty

Shape the seasoned beef into a round patty about ¾ inch thick.

Cook the Bacon

  1. 3

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and let drain on paper towels.

Cook the Patty

  1. 4

    Grill the Patty

In the same skillet or on a grill, cook the beef patty over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness.

  2. 5

    Add Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of the patty and cover to melt.

Toast the Bun

  1. 6

    Butter the Bun

Spread butter on the cut side of the burger bun.

  2. 7

    Toast the Bun

In a separate skillet or on a grill, toast the buttered bun until golden brown.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 8

    Layer the Ingredients

On the bottom half of the toasted bun, place the lettuce leaf, followed by the beef patty with melted cheese, crispy bacon, and a slice of tomato.

  2. 9

    Complete the Burger

Top with the other half of the toasted bun and press gently to secure.
