Prepare the Burger Patty

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until the seasoning is evenly distributed.

Shape the seasoned beef into a round patty about ¾ inch thick.
Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and let drain on paper towels.

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of the patty and cover to melt.
Toast the Bun

Spread butter on the cut side of the burger bun.

On the bottom half of the toasted bun, place the lettuce leaf, followed by the beef patty with melted cheese, crispy bacon, and a slice of tomato.
