Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork Ribs

Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F). Pat the pork ribs dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Sear the Ribs

In a large oven-safe pot or Dutch oven, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the ribs and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side until browned. Remove the ribs and set aside.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Braising Mixture

In the same pot, reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic, chopped rosemary, and thyme. Sauté for about 2 minutes until fragrant. Then, add the honey and chicken broth, stirring to combine.

  4. 4

    Combine and Braise

Return the seared pork ribs to the pot, ensuring they are coated with the sauce. Cover the pot with a lid and transfer it to the preheated oven. Braise the ribs for approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the meat is tender and easily pulls away from the bone.

  5. 5

    Add Parmesan and Finish

Once the ribs are tender, remove them from the oven. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the ribs, cover, and let them rest for about 10 minutes before serving.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the slow-braised pork ribs with the remaining sauce drizzled over the top and garnish with additional fresh herbs if desired.
